HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Proposal for the branding of the 2019 Manchester School of Art Graphic Design Degree Show. The initial starting point of the project was to look to umbrella the year group of multi-faceted designers under the idea that this has been a 3 year journey to eventually reach the peak of the degree show. Looking to project to attendees that it has been a culmination of triumphs, failures and experimentation to reach this point. We simply asked students on the course to visualise the up’s and down’s of these 3 years into a simple line drawing. These were then rendered out using 3D software in various colours and textures, applied across posters, invitations, catalogue design and social assets.
