3D animated Launch film for YUV a beauty startup looking to transform the future of hair colouring by creating an in salon mix machine to allow hair stylist and clients to create and dispense millions of professional formulas in seconds. I was tasked to come up with an animated visual representation of each stage of the process from the hairstylist creating the formula on the YUV app right through to the machine dispensing the formula and then applying the colour to the client. Various aspects of the feature were left completely under my creative control such as the ‘colour world’ which was an abstract interpretation of the various colour profiles mixing within the machine to create the formula also showing the endless possibilities that can be created using the YUV system.
